Speak Up!

Written by Molly Bergen | March 10th, 2010 | Add a comment (11)

Team Earth has a question for you: how are you green? What resources do you use to get environmental tips? Where do you buy sustainable products?

I guess that’s three questions.

Just think about it—your efforts to conserve resources and promote green businesses may seem small, but if you post a tip here and just one person decides to follow your lead, you’re doubling your impact!

That’s what Team Earth is all about: empowering each of us to join a movement that is mobilizing people far and wide for our common cause—the health and prosperity of the Earth we all share.

I would just like to say that i am conscious of the present crisis that our planet is facing and i have stopped driving as much. i do more carpooling and traveling, i’ve been planting more trees at home and using the CFL bulbs and i’ve also begun to use less paper. This planet is in need of our help and we have the power in our own hands to help. COME ON PEOPLE IT’S NEVER TO LATE TO START MAKING A CHANGE FOR THE BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[edited for spelling] I think life is too short to live green. It is not the customer, it’s the gov. and the big companies doing the wrong. Make them go green and see what happens. Our jobs go overseas that don’t have the dumb people trying to profit on going green. We just live here and when the planet is gonna blow, we’re on for the ride. It’s done it before and it’s gonna do it again.

  5. This year our company has decided to inspire others in doing more during Earth Hour: http://www.bonjourbaby.com.au/blog/?p=545

I use CFL bulbs and unplug any electrical gadget we aren’t using, I don’t use the dryer anymore and we have reusable bags. We also changed cleaning products for more natural stuff. We changed to a vegetarian diet, and when we walk the dog in the park we pick up after him and some garbage from the road (At least the one that is in our way).
